JUST WHAT IS THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT?
My interview with Canadia Broadcasting Company
Canadian Broadcasting Company asked me to be part of a news segment for the Canadian nightly news show called 'The National' on the topic of the American Tea Party movement on April 15th this year.
Not sure why they asked me to be part of the segment, I let them know I'm a very independent thinker and very outspoken but I was clear as to what I felt was the real Tea Party movement and what I consider the phony Tea Party movement.
Although I was interviewed for both radio and television for about 3 hours, the questions and answers were not aired only capturing a few rather extreme statements of mine. So I have tried to remember the questions and my answers during the 3 hour interview. The broadcast did very little to shed light on what the Tea Party movement is and why it exists.
So by paraphrasing the questions and reinventing my answers; I’m sharing my interview to shed more light on what I consider is the motivating ferver of the Tea Party movement.
CBC REPORTER: What IS the Tea Party movement?
Anna Yeisley answers: The Tea Party movement of today is about what the original Boston Tea Party was all about. Taxation without Representation. Elitist government versus citizen government. Most people think of the Boston Tea Party as a bunch of angry citizens who threw British tea into the ocean. You know civil rebellion.”
CBC REPORTER: Would you say that anger is a motivating instigator of the movement?
Anna Yeisley answers: Most definitely. You know, it’s okay to be angry if your home, your property, your life or the lives of those you love are being threatened. Anger is a natural God given instinct called self preservation. Americans are losing their homes and their liberty and their savings and our government is just watching it happen.
CBC REPORTER: Things aren’t that bad, are they?
Anna Yeisley answers: I’ve lost my home, most of my possessions, my vehicles, my savings account, my retirement account, my garden, my fruit trees, my chickens and rabbits due to this recession. My husband and I are hanging onto our business with all the determination of a drowning man hanging onto life saver. I’m angry because my loss all happened at no fault of my own. My husband and I are GREAT at what we do.
CBC REPORTER: You’re a small business owner?
Anna Yeisley answers: Yes my husband and I own a home improvement company in Fredericksburg. You know, small business is known for employing a good majority of American workers offering higher wages and better benefits than other bigger businesses in the same trade. Small business is the lifeblood of strong local economy and stable national economy. The present monetary system is taking us down.
CBC REPORTER: Let’s get back to the Tea Party movement. What would you consider the prerequisite of being called a Tea Party member?
Anna Yeisley answers: 1st - a commitment to seeing constitutional self government re-instituted. 2nd - understanding that our monetary and taxation system are unconstitutional and need to be overhauled. That means ending the unaccountable power of the Federal Reserve.
Are you saying that ending the Federal Reserve is part of rhetoric of the Tea Party movement?
Anna Yeisley answers: If it isn’t, it should be. The Federal Reserve System is at the heart of our economic instability and should be brought under Congressional jurisdiction. Do you realize that our Constitution does not give authority outside of Congress to print money? Today, Congress not only has nothing to do with printing our money, but the Federal Reserve is not even accountable to Congress. The Federal Reserve is not a governmental agency. The Federal Reserve has not taken an oath to protect our constitutional liberty or our God-given right to accumulate material wealth. It is a private banking cartel.
CBC REPORTER: Didn’t you say that the reason behind the original Tea Party movement was regarding ‘taxation without representation? How do you relate taxation without representation and the Federal Reserve System?
Anna Yeisley answers: The Internal Revenue Service works as an arm to the privately Federal Reserve. It collects money for the Federal Reserve. Our present taxation system is unconstitutional. Most of us are paying taxes BEFORE we can pay for food, shelter or clothing. That was not the plan. That plan was that the government would make money only after the citizenry did. Under the original system, government would be focused on creating and supporting strong local economic growth. Today, the government gets paid no matter how local economy is doing. They’re not protecting our life, liberty or property / they’re TAKING our property and savings.
The other thing is that the Federal Reserve makes money deflating the value of the dollar. Inflation creates revenue for the Federal Reserve while putting an impossible burden upon the American people. Inflation is a hidden tax, benefitting government and the Federal Reserve but robs citizens of wealth and accumulation.
CBC REPORTER: So as a Tea Party movement enthusiast you want to take down two of the most important economic institutions in America – the Federal Reserve and the IRS. Aren’t you concerned with creating economic chaos?
Anna Yeisley answers: What do you think is coming up ahead? We're just beginning to witness economic chaos. Our only hope of restoring economic stability is returning to a free enterprise economic system unregulated by government; a fair and just taxation system and an end to a private banking cartel controlling our money.
CBC REPORTER: The Constitution was written 200 years ago for less than a million people. Do you really think we can return to strict constitutional government?
Anna Yeisley answers: Constitutional principles are sound – 1) the lawmaking power and money to be in the hands of the people and to the States; and 2) restricting the size and scope of federal government. These principles DON’T change except by usurpation of a too strong and too big federal government.
CBC Reporter: Isn’t Tea Party movement affiliated with the Republican Party?
Anna Yeisley answers: NO! Both parties are controlled by the monetary manipulators. That's why nothing ever changes, it just gets worse! Both parties are given support and money by Wall Street and the Federal Reserve Banking system. Both our political parties are tyrannically controlled and manipulated by the global elites who control the international banking, investment sectors and multinational corporations.
The Tea Party movement sees BOTH parties as corrupt and opposed to our nation’s economic survival.
CBC Reporter: Isn’t the Tea Party movement the result of a bunch of bad losers mad about losing the last presidential election?
Anna Yeisley answers: Not the folks I know. The Tea Party movement began during the grassroots movement of Ron Paul who spoke against the Federal Reserve and the lack of constitutional loyalty in our government. We’ve been rallying and sign waving regarding our political system for over 4 years now. The movement has grown tremendously since Obama got in office but the corruption in our government began decades before Obama was elected.
The newbies that have joined since 2008 and who are only protesting the presidency of Barrack Obama / many do not see the depth or enormity of our governmental corruption and how far away we are from being self governed. Those that believe that a Republican dominated Congress and Senate will restore our free republic will be horrifically disappointed. The Republican Party has long ago sold out to the global elites and multinationals who are secretly ruling our country. TO BE CONTINUED
