Whether a government is elitist, socialist, collectivist, corporatist, democratic or a free republic, leaders arise with a vision for their countrymen and use their rise in political power to use the law and governmental system to see their vision become reality. No matter how pure, how noble and how grand the vision, the vision of one man, or the vision of a group of men can never hope to achieve the effectiveness, longevity and success of a nation’s embrace of a vision. Free enterprise is that VISION.
Free enterprise is an economic system yet to truly see the light of day, although it is the type of economy our forefathers envisioned. Shared vision of a nation of individuals ensures the freedom and miracle of a free enterprise economy. A free enterprise economy is based upon individuals working independently to make their own vision a reality.
A vision of one man has for the whole nation is bound to fail in a free enterprise economy. No man has that kind of intelligence! Man needs to get out of the way and allow God to work his miracles and magic. There is no predicting what the market will do when it is free of governmental and banking and monetary manipulation. This unknowingness gives free enterprise its magic, fairness and success. A market that is unpredictable is freer of monopoly and manipulation. The free enterprise economy remains equally fair due to this same unpredictability. Luck and chance is an equalizer. In the anything but free market of today, manipulation of the market reduces unpredictability and those that manipulate the market win. These are typically corporations - (see http://annayeisley.com/freeenterpriseeconomy/corporateplunder.html) and without individual's having access to this manipulation, a free enterprise system breaks down. There should be laws to keep corporate monopoly from destroying an economy, but our courts have not been enforcing them. Our legislature keeps rewriting our laws allowing more and more corporate control over our econonmy. As long as individuals thrive, the free enterprise system remains solid and unflinching despite global economic downturns. A nation will ALWAYS survive when individuals are flourishing.
Our present economic downfall is due to, too much government intervention and too much manipulation by the central banking system known as the Federal Reserve, as well as corporate monopoly. When more and more money lands in the hands of less and less people, and when that money is dominated by large groups that bear no individual responsibility, the free enterprise system is no longer at work and the prosperity for the individual naturally diminishes along with national prosperity. Historically, unfortunately, by the time the populace notices their nation's economic collapse, another country has already invaded and conquered.
Give the keys to the kingdom back in the hands of the individual and our dying economy will once again flourish.
