Chemical contamination – A Bigger Threat than Terrorism?
Chemical Contamination – I fear that we, the global population, may all be (and perhaps are being) systematically poisoned by the global chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The threat of Terrorism is no more threatening than unregulated chemical and pharmaceutical manufacture.
Chemical and pharmaceutical industries are the globe’s most successful industries. They create their own educational facilities called medical schools. They fund their own research. They are profit driven. They will stop at nothing to continue creating more and more drugs and chemicals.
We need to regulate and stop chemical contamination of our Earth and water. It is a very real concern and one we can all improve by insisting on legislation limiting the development of unnecessary and harmful chemicals. Insuring research by impartial objective scientists is crucial to public safety. Refusing to buy products that contain dangerous chemicals and refusing to find uses for chemicals known to cause blindness, mental deterioration, and cancer.
Where do we start? Find the top 20 toxic chemicals present in our water supply and prohibit their manufacture and distribution. Refuse to buy or sell petroleum dependent products. Create an education that is based on the importance of natural balance and optimal human health. Natural health education will create a natural and support our instinctive aversion to unnatural and unbalanced chemicals and poisons.
If we were to stop the manufacture and distribution of unnecessary and harmful drugs and chemicals, would our global economy survive? Answer: Our current global economy is solidly built upon raping the Earth of natural resources and then polluting Her with toxic waste from chemical manufacture by-products, or in the case of petroleum, destroying the balance of our atmosphere with dangerous emissions. Our present global economy must collapse in order to save the Earth and its inhabitants.
Shouldn’t We Fear Economic Collapse? The collapse of the current economy will force the rise of another. Cleaning up the Earth is going to create the rise of another economy, an economy that is based on preserving the Earth as well as increasing the production and sale of naturally produced, Earth friendly foods and goods. This new economy will be backed by Universal Intelligence and the power and love of the human soul and imagination. This new economy will be based upon something higher and greater than greed, exploitation and disregard of planetary and human health.
